The ann IHMCT had started its operation a few years back by offering one year Diploma course in Tourism & Hotel Administration and 18 months Hospitality Management Diploma in order to satisfy the pressing needs of an expanding local travel and hotel industry, and now provides a unique learning environment, producing graduates with the right skills, knowledge and experience to take up a career in the hospitality industry worldwide. The institute is run by the students as a fully operational hotel. Students are both a hotel guest and student, learning to operate the various departments of a hotel and to manage different business aspects of the hotel industry.

It now offers a variety of study program each of which stimulates and rewards its participants by providing knowledge and developing the skill necessary in today's rapidly changing society. Our objectives of all programs is to prepare students for a successful career in tourism and hospitality industry. The ease with which successful students of the institute secure employment demonstrate the confidence shown in the Institute by the Hotel industry and the correctness of its educational policy.

During the course a great deal of emphasis is placed on leadership, team work and work habits, such as attitude, punctuality, responsibility and presentation, to ensure that students gain experience in all aspects of hotel management.
